Local Homeschool Conference Service Project
The following is a list of items our
soldiers are asking for as well
as items inappropriate to send at this time. Please bring with you what you
can. Conation boxes will be set up for product drop off. Most items are
inexpensive
and the Frontier Girls troop will cover the cost of shipping the
items overseas (Thank you Frontier Girls). If you want to know more

Fly swatters & fly paper - if you haven't seen
them, your soldier are
fighting flies & other miserable bugs right now
DVDs, assorted but not too violent (Ch Kinnune
requests "clean"
comedy movies)
Gum
Protein bars
Hearty Soup (put in microwave safe bowl and plastic spoons)
Canned meals such as ravioli, spaghetti (bowl & spoon/forks)
Tang
Singles drink mixes
Current magazines; sports, news, car, motorcycle &
women's interest
for female soldiers
Any pocket foods they can take out on hunting
missions that last from
14 hours to 3 days
Cool Ties (let me know if you want pattern)
Please do not send any home baked goods. The soldiers
are not
allowed to eat them unless they know the person they are from.
Do not send anything with chocolate as it will melt.
Do not send anything with dried fruit or soft baked
items such as
muffins or cookies as they will mold before they get there.
If you send letters, they must be unsealed as they must
be read and
approved before they are sent overseas.
