Can homeschoolers go to college?

 Many home educated students have been accepted at many schools including Harvard, Yale, and BYU, and some at very young ages. Many colleges openly recruit homeschoolers. Some go to a local community college and then transfer in to a four year universities, however, many are accepted in right away.
